Royal Public MHSS Clans: Nurturing Ethical Minds Through Ancient
Legacies
"Education is the art of making man ethical."
Embracing this profound philosophy, Royal Public MHSS proudly organizes its student body
into four distinct houses,
each bearing the name of a formidable ancient Indian kingdom: Cheras, Cholas,
Pandyas, and Pallavas.
These houses serve as vibrant communities, fostering values and teamwork among students.
Chera House: The Verdant Path of Unity
The Chera dynasty, a prominent historical
lineage of Southern India, thrived on its extensive trade with the Romans. At Royal
Public MHSS, the Chera House embodies this
legacy through its unwavering unity and diligent effort. Their members symbolize
growth and collaboration, urging all to join hands to cultivate their team into a
flourishing, verdant entity.
Chola House: The Resilient Spirit of Determination
The Chola dynasty, a fertile Tamil empire, holds the remarkable distinction of being
one of the longest-ruling families
in human history, spanning over 1500 years. At Royal Public MHSS, the Chola
House mirrors this enduring
legacy, representing unyielding willpower and steadfast
determination. Illuminated by the
radiant color of yellow, symbolizing the sun's guiding light, the
house is powerfully steered by its mission
to rise, lead, and persevere through all challenges.
Pandiya House: The Azure Horizon of Limitless Potential
The Pandya dynasty, also known as the Pandyas of
Madurai, stands as an ancient and pivotal
kingdom among the three great realms of Tamilakam.
At Royal Public MHSS, the Pandiya House draws
inspiration from the expansive and boundless
qualities of the “Margin of Marines,”
beautifully represented by serene hues of
blue—the color of the clouds, the sea, and the
infinite sky. This house celebrates clarity,
depth, and the courage to explore beyond limits, inspiring every student to dream
big and rise with purpose.
Pallava House: The Guardians of Life and Legacy
The Pallava dynasty holds significant historical
importance in ancient India, particularly
renowned for its profound patronage of architecture, exemplified by the magnificent
Shore Temple—a UNESCO World Heritage site in
Mamallapuram.
The Pallava House at Royal Public embodies a
spirit of proactive guardianship, committed to the
powerful declaration: "To preserve life." They passionately advocate for
the conservation of every precious drop of blood and the safeguarding of all life on
Earth.
